Biography

As counsel, Simon Greenberg advises companies and governments on potential and pending cross-border commercial disputes. His experience covers most major arbitral institutions, governing laws and places of arbitration, and a range of dispute types. As arbitrator, Simon has sat in various cases as arbitral tribunal president, as co-arbitrator and as Emergency Arbitrator under the rules of UNCITRAL, HKIAC, ICC, LCIA, the Swiss Chambers, and ADCCAC. Simon’s core experience includes disputes relating to energy and resources (in particular mining), telecommunications, technology and IP (in particular in the mobile communication and electronics sectors), construction and shareholders/JV disputes. Simon was the Deputy Secretary General of the ICC International Court of Arbitration from 2008-2012 and remains a Member of the ICC Court, representing Australia.
